 Zinc Ferrites are tan color pigments, slightly redder than Yellow Iron Oxides, used in niche Coatings applications because of its enhanced heat-fastness vs Yellow Iron Oxides. Both Nubifer Y-805K (more reddish shade) and Nubifer Y-905K (more greenish shade) are used in Powder Coatings, Coil Coatings, Stoving Paints and any other sort of Coatings that require high heat fastness. Nubifer Y-805K resists up to 300ºC and Nubifer Y-905K up to 260ºC for 5 min. Both resist longer times at high temperature e.g. 10-15 min at 220ºC, but we strongly recommend this to be checked case by case.
