 Ultramarine Violets are mostly used in Cosmetics to provide a bright violet shade to all sort of formulations. As Ultramarine Blues, they lack metamerism; therefore they do not change color in function of the iluminant. Ultramarine Violets’ properties are very similar to Ultramarine Blues’:  FDA approval, in EU listed as INCI number 77007 Low level of impurities Sufficient tinting strength Brightness Easy-dispersion Insolubility, avoiding migration tendencies  The VC series are Ultramarine Violets in which there is a special quality control on Lead, Arsenic and Mercury content as well as a microbiological analysis to guarantee the absence of microorganisms in the pigment. |
