Nubiola joined forces with Trikemindo Utama and United Chemicals to boost the “Green” Coatings Market in Indonesia 

Last Monday 14^th of November the Board of the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE)’s Additives & Color Europe Division (ACE) gathered at Nubiola’s Head Office in Barcelona to carry out a Wrap-Up meeting of the 2011 ACE activities. 

Yellow Iron Oxides for plastics or high temperature cured coatings? The chemical structure of these products means an obstacle for this kind of applications, as their color is not stable under high temperatures.

We at Nubiola have developed our own encapsulation technology to overcome this issue and are proud to announce the commercial launch of our Heat Resistant Yellow Iron Oxide, Nubifer Y-7050, produced in our facilities in Colombia.

Nubiola and DSKH organized a Seminar about “Innovative Color Solutions” for the Construction Market, last May 25^th, at the Novotel Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand.

Transcor, Nubiola’s Brazilian distributor, received an award from Paint & Pintura magazine as the most important 2010 Brazilian Inorganic Pigments player in the market.

Colortech, the North American based manufacturer of color and additive concentrates for the plastics industry, trusted Nubiola as its Supplier of the Year 2010.

During the last few months we have been actively focussed on promoting our Heat Resistant Iron Oxides, Zinc Ferrites and Ecofriendly Corrosion Inhibitors.

Our Nubicem B series, the cement-compatible Ultramarine Blue, fully passed the test requirements described by the European standard EN 12878:2005.

We at Nubiola have recently expanded our manufacturing capacity of Micronized Red Iron Oxides (Nubifer Red 5000 series) by 20% in our Girardota (Colombia) production plant. The investment was approved last year but the expanded line is working at full capacity since mid 2010.
