 Bismuth Vanadate Nubivan Y-901 is a lead- and chrome-free Inorganic Pigment which provides a Greenish Yellow shade. It is classified as a non-hazardous Inorganic Pigment. The Greenish Yellow color has been classified as Pigment Yellow 184/C.I. 771740 (Bismuth Vanadate) by the Colour Index System. Its basic chemical composition is BiVO4 Bismuth Vanadates have been widely used in the Plastics and Coatings industries because of their outstanding weather and light fastness and good acid and alkali resistance. Nubivan Y-901 combined with Organic Pigments allows developing high gloss, bright and opaque yellow, red, orange and green color shades, being then a suitable replacement for Chrome Yellows and Molybdate Orange. |
